1. Alphathesis Safaris: From Studio Venture to AI Travel Concierge
Alphathesis Safaris is a studio-born venture that curates thoughtful, bespoke journeys across East Africa. We curate safaris in Kenya and Tanzania, time on the coast, and soft landings in cities like Nairobi. Instead of a traditional brochure site, we’ve treated it as a live sandbox for how modern travel businesses can use product, structured data and AI together.
2. Traditional SEO: “Things to Do in Nairobi”
Traditional SEO gets people to a page. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) asks a different question: how do we make sure that when someone asks an AI, “Where should I stay in Nairobi?” or “How would you design a 7-day Kenya safari?”, the answer reflects your expertise and data?
3. AEO: From Search Page to Answer Engine
We took the same structured Airtable base that powers theNairobi page on our website and wired it into a Custom GPT: Alphathesis Safaris: East Africa Travel Concierge. The GPT can now pull from a dynamic, curated data source by surfacing accommodations, restaurants and itinerary ideas that are always in sync with what we maintain in Airtable. Instead of a static FAQ, we have a conversational travel concierge grounded in our own recommendations.
The result is an AI layer that respects the work we’ve already put into content, data modeling and curation; all the while giving travelers a faster way to get to a trip that actually feels like them.
