Alphathesis Safaris: an AI travel concierge

Own venture

Alphathesis Safaris is our own studio venture, curating bespoke journeys across East Africa—and a live sandbox for how a modern travel business can put product, structured data, and AI together.

Traditional SEO gets someone to a page. The harder question is what happens when they ask an assistant instead—“Where should I stay in Nairobi?”, “How would you plan seven days in Kenya?” For that answer to reflect your expertise, the expertise has to live somewhere a model can actually reach.

So we wired the same structured Airtable base that powers the Nairobi guide into a Custom GPT. It surfaces accommodation, restaurants, and itinerary ideas directly from curated data, which keeps its answers in sync with what we maintain—a conversational concierge grounded in our own recommendations rather than a static FAQ.

Impact

  • One curated dataset serves both the site and the assistant
  • Answers stay in sync with a single source of truth
  • Public and testable—not a private demo
